Looking possibly to get a HD f150 and wanted to know a realistic MPG average for a stock one and any other annoying expenses i may run into.

And i know its got a eaton on it but could 87 oct tune work on it.

Not really wanting it for its performance...mainly its looks.

Most seem to got between 12-15mpg on mixed driving and up to 18mpg on a cruise.
Keeping your foot in it will bring these numbers down dramatically.

No, you can't run an 87 octane tune on the supercharged versions but you could always look for a 2000 or 2001 model which were N/A.
I had an N/A 5.4 Screw before my HD and it wan'st any more economical to be honest though you might get away with 87 on one of those.

In all truth, if you are after economy, the truck (any truck) is not for you.

I average 15-16 on the hwy and 12-13 around town. Its all premium and with gas prices the way they are i wouldnt recommend it for a dd. Mines been in the garage and gets driven every now and then. Get a rice box car thats paid for to drive and get the harley for a bad ass truck.
