I made my first passes this evening with a 125 shot hooked up. Heres how it broke down:
60ft: 1.750
1/8: 8.001
MPH: 86.62
1/4: 12.674
MPH: 102.52
The truck kooked well and shifted OK, but around the 1100' mark it started shifting into OD. I have been so nervous about hitting the rev limiter, I immediately lifted off the throttle and coasted the rest of the pass. (I hit the gas once to make sure I didnt damage something) The low MPH is the story. It didnt go much faster than I normally do on the motor. Im pretty pleased with a 6 tenth drop only running to the 1100' mark. I would think a 12.20-30 at around 108-110 would be what to expect.
Im going to get a pair of 295/60/15 Drag Radials for more gearing and see if thats enough to make it to the end of the quarter. A chip tuned for 5300rpm shifts and remove the speed limiter and raise the rev limiter to 6000rpm is what it needs also. Not to bad for the first night on the bottle, I dont think.
