put in a quadrant the other day...

it's a double hook, and i put it on the last hook, but the clutch is slipping now, so i gotta put it on the other hook...

after that, i'll need an adjuster to take up a little slack

what's the best one?

looking at the fiore or the billetflow...

the fiore seems nice

opinions?

Both are great adjusters. I have been using a fiore for a couple years now, and it has not failed me yet. I had a Steeda on my '98 cobra, and it was a POS compared to the BF and fiore units.

the fiore you don't need a tool to adjust right?

it just pulls and clicks?

sucks that the first hook didn't work

it was shifting wonderfully, just had a tad too much tension on the line...

do you have to take the cable completely out to install the adjuster?

yes you have to remove the cable... as for the hooks... i would never put it on the farther one... keep it as close to the FW as possible is the way i always did it ... had less problems too

I use the UPR but I would go with another brand that actually supplied the needed spacers for the quadrant. I was disappointed to find that UPR did not provide them as some of the other manufacturers do but other than that it is a good piece.
