Firewall adjuster

What is the stock firewall adjuster made of? I heard somewhere it is plastic. Just wondered if that is correct

There is no "stock firewall adjuster". The piece that the cable goes through the firewall is plastic.
Stock adjusters quadrants are under the dash connected to the clutch pedal. It is plastic and has teeth on the outter edge for adjusting.
Aftermarket firewall adjusters & quadrants are aluminum.

That's what I was hoping for. I guess that's one more thing to add to the list of what was done to my "stock" Cobra. Dealerships are so stupid.
