I'd be first in line. I've got 2 vehicle purchases coming up over the next 4-5 years. One of which will be right on time for the Bronco.

Since its based on the ranger chassis, and nothing on that platform has a V8, i'm guessing the ranger and bronco will not get a V8 option. I really hope i'm wrong though and Ford reinforces the chassis to support the V8.

I'd also take the 3.0 diesel if it proves to be a decent engine and Ford decides to stuff it in.

I can't imagine the premium over the other engines could make it a good selling point but Ford is spending a ton of money bringing it out, so maybe it will surprise me.

It will be similar to the F150, i'm sure. We shall see. Its very hard to justify with cheap gas prices. It helps in CA that diesel is often cheaper than gasoline. At least where I am it is. That might change this November when the new gas tax hits though.

I would think it would be awesome off road though. Increased range and gobs of torque down low. Assuming the weight penalty doesn't kill the capabilities.

Definitely looks like a camouflaged everest. The everest isn't a bad looking suv but it definitely shouldn't carry the Bronco name. Ford has an opportunity to hit a home run here.

This should have been the current Explorer. Literally, take the bottom image, splatter Explorer in big bold letters and it would be an ad for Ford.
