First time ever at the track....1/4 mile times

Well finally decided to take the 04 cobra. my mods are JLT CAI, Bassani X, MAC cat back, IRS brace, nitto 315 DR. no tune or pulley. how bad off did i do for my first time ever on the track.

60- 2.022
330- 5.601
1/8- 8.498
MPH- 85.16
1000-10.951
1/4- 12.997
MPH- 109.02

weather was in the low 80's. tire pressure was at 22 and i shifted at 6200, didnt wanna push it too hard. i think im capable of mid to low 12's with more practice. just thought id post up tho.

Nice, my friend and I took out his '04 Comp Orange and ran 8.1,8.2's all night @91-94 mph(1/8th mile)....so you have way more in it.....practice,practice,practice

hell ya there is more left in it! Its all in the 60ft man! Get some slicks and skinnies! 2.0 60ft is crap, so hold on tight when you get some slicks.

Also, lower the tire pressure to 15-16psi. Launch at a high rpm and if it starts spinning feather the gas.

Those are very descent times for your first time. Just remember it's all about practicing to get your 60' down and you will be fine. Good Job

yea thats what most people have said about my 60' time. i was still runnin 20+ psi in my nittos. didnt wanna take the chance on breakin anything my first time, but next time ill lower them a good bit. what kinda times should i be seein with the basic bolt on mods that i have. thx for the input btw.
