has anybody had to trim the rubber elbow to get the kit to even go under the hood? got it all put together and point blank it had to be trimmed to fit. looks okay but just wondering if anyone else has had to do this

it's tough to make it fit in general QUITE hard if you keep the hose off the valve cover, I already had breathers on so I could push that black cylinder piece up more on the rubber elbow!

trim it? Nope. I also have the RAI and it is a tight fit the first time, but it should fit with out modification. it will rub on the hood blanket but that is all.

It may not require trimming but, if you angle cut the elbow, it fits better and easier.
