This pic is interesting to me, possibly an indication of what the 2011 GT500 motors will look like, which will most likely be the FGT alum. block with wet-sump and starter machining; the oil filter placement is the indicator. I was hoping that the new GT500 alum. block would be a new casting and identical to the 5.4 iron block, I would have liked to use my current Accusump engine hook-up (at the oil filter boss) and Canton oil pan when I switch to the alum. FGT block, looks like I won't be able to do that.
