For Those Who Sold Their Stock Rims

I am going to be getting the chrome rims. I was wondering how much you received for the original factory rims. I know if you trade them back to Ford it is around $300. So, where did you sell them and what type of profit did you all make. Thanks in advance.

i sold my stock wheels with tires at 5K miles and got 700.00

Sold on Ebay for around $450 plus shipping. Rims only. This was last October, November though.

You actually get $240 if you trade them in at Ford as part of the chrome wheel upgrade package.

I sold mines in the local paper for $700 with SVT inserts.

I'm selling mine with tires, less than 1K miles, for $600. My new wheels are due any day - of course that's been their status for 2 weeks.

Sold mine for $650. Post an ad on www.stangnet.com and the www.corral.net in the classified sections. Those sites seem to always work for me when I need to sell parts.

I never got that letter from Ford for the rebate on the chromies, so i am out of luck. I had to keep my centercaps too, so i hope to sell mine for 400, prob is no center caps, i may be dreaming trying to sell them that way.

Sold mine for $400, I was planning on selling mine for more...but my neighbor with a GT was at my doorstep when I got home with the cash in hand.

Sold mine, to a guy in PA, for $500 + shipping.

Cost him $60 for the shipping.

I kept the SVT center caps for the chrome wheels.

I posted in the market section of this and a few other message boards.
Sold them in about 3 days. (last November)

Net cost for my chromies was $500 :-D

i sold mine for $450 to a buddy as a favor...i had another guy offer me $650 for them, but i had already promised my buddy he could have them. he hooked me up w/ some cheap parts.

on ebay..........500 easy with no tires, about 1000 if the tires are low milage and mounted. I know the boxes you get from most storage facilities or u-haul easily fit two wheels at a time, ive never shipped wheels with tires, but they prolly have something.

sold for $400 to the concrete guys buddy. Concrete guy stopped by to provide a bid and noticed the car. Showed him the wheels, called his buddy. $400 in hand no hassle. Rims only.

Looks like Ford did not get very many stock rims back as part of this agreement.
