i have a 98 cobra I upgraded to a d-1 from a p600. I used all my existing hoses and y intercooler. I bought a d-1 head unit ,brackets ,bigger BOV ,and had to plug my oil pan since p600 uses engine oil. I pushed 600 rwhp with 14 lbs with a forged motor. So your goal is definately possible. The only drawback to the d-1 is I made more low end power with the p600 but d-1 pulls hard up top.

Are you still on the stock bottom end?

If so, I'll be looking for your post a few days/weeks after you install it:
'So, my engine blew up today, how much for a forged engine'

Before you do that, just get the bottom-end forged. It will be less expensive to do it before it blows up then afterwards.

I never had anything but my d1 installed but it is a very nice unit. Make sure your running a 3 core, it will help tons. And my d1 on a 3.6" pulley makes 1.5 psi at 1800 rpm's
