To make that 60k+ ev affordable for the masses, they'll just roll out 15 year car mortgages won't even call them loans anymore. it's a mortgage which is an investment in your future /sarcasm. Don't worry that it's longer than the useful life of the battery, we'll have 60month battery loans to cover that charge.
Tax deductible too

Tenvoorde Ford just did an interior renovation. I was amazed at the number of salesmen stations installed. The fact that people have trades and sales tax is offset in MN means those deals will need to be worked in person even if you ordered online.

Dealers should band together and all decline EV sales then. Let Ford sell those direct and then when the prices stay high because without dealers buying inventory there's no incentive for them to keep mass producing, they won't lower prices and sell less, and dealers won't have to take the losses.
