FORD EXPEDITION K&N is same as 2003 COBRA FILTER?

Looking at my 2003 Cobra filter. I SWEAR they are the exact same filter. If so, then we should be able to use a Ford Expedition K&N filter for the 03 cobra...

I could be wrong, but DAMN if they dont look to be the exact same size and look...

Anyone confirm or deny this?

One way to find out is take your filter into a parts store and ask to see a Expedition filter and compare the 2...

I used a K&N E0945. I sent K&N an e-mail, and this is the filter they recommended. (It's the same one as used in the '01 Cobra and lots of others.) I suppose you could check on their web site and see if this is the one called for on the Expedition.
