Ford racing Diff cover vent ?

What did everyone do with they're vent tube on the aftermarket Ford racing diff cover ? Did u reuse the factory one or make you own ? Or did it possibly come with one ? The shop that put mine on didnt have anything on the barb fitting and the rear is continually spraying fluid out.

Swapped the stock one over as well. It does not come with any tube.

Does the factory cover or vent tube have a "check valve" built into it ?

It's just a rubber piece of tubing as far as I could tell when I removed mine off my housing to clean it when I rebuilt my rear-end.

My stock one was baked on so I made a new one...

You checked the fluid level? You're sure its coming from the vent tube?

If it's coming from the vent tube unless your car is upside down it is most likely over filled.

yes its defiantly coming from the vent tube, i installed a "temporary" catch can. The shop must of over filled it by a quart because its been filling my catch can for over 600 miles now.......
