Ford racing x-pipe leaks

I have a 2013 Boss302 and tried to install a Ford Racing after cat x-pipe. The factory clamp is not able to be tightened enough where the x-pipe meets the cat pipe, and it leaks and the exhaust seems loose. The ball and socket just doesnt have a good fit.
Of course, Im concerned that Ford doesnt have any exhaust support in the middle of the exhaust.
any else had this issue? any fixes?

i took a ball peen to mine before i mounted it. There were some slight out of round spots on the socket. That and i added that liquid metal gasket mat'l to the mating surfaces just to be safe.
