Damn, now ford's gotta build that. That thing is freaking sweet ford needs a car to compete with the vette and viper for a good price. The GT is kicking ass everywhere it goes but they need something cheaper to compete and then it be a whole new ballgame :burnout:
It's a nice car, but the impressions I get from the Ford press release is that it is a concept and show only car.
If Ford does decide to build a Viper fighter, I think it will have to be convertible and I'm not sure how well the Ford GT platform will handle that. Also that V10 runs on race gas according to the Shelby Cobra special on Rides, so it would either be a different engine or a detuned version of the V10. If they detune it, they may as well go with the GT's engine since it is already lying around.
