Ok, here's the race. The local track is putting together a race ford vs gm. Classes are arranged by tire/time. This is heads up racing. Both racers will not know eachothers time at the start of the race. As long as you don't break out of your tire/time index. Street tire (no drag/race tires allowed)this has a index of 11.50. This is the class that i have entered. Cars that have entered are GTOs and Corvettes. I have a 04 Cobra 444/461 to the wheels. Best time to date, coming off the line easy is a 12.7. Since then my shifting/reaction has improved, doing some street racing. Now with the GTOs and Vettes having street tires too, will I have a chance against them.

The Cruze seems to be a decent effort but I'm thinking the Focus will continue to be a better vehicle. Same with the Fiesta vs. Aveo. Not sure about the next Malibu yet. That may stack up to be a better midsize vehicle. Plus, I still think GM should ditch GMC.

GM just needs better mainstream vehicles.
