Fr500 intake

I'm looking for an fr500 intake for a 96-98 cobra. Found out these aren't in production anymore and can't find any other alternatives. Sullivan makes intakes for it but they're carburated and I want to keep it fuel injected with the throttle body in the stock location

The spelling in the description would scare me away, along with the price.

Would that fit a 96-98? It says it's for a 99-04. The throttle body doesn't like it's in the same spot

No, it won't work with 96-98 heads.

I didnt think so since 96-98 have c-port heads. Anybody have any ideas where I could find an intake for a 96-98? I read that they don't make any more power after 6800rpm. I want it to be able to flow up to 8k rpm but I don't want a carburetor with a Sullivan intake

You're pretty much stuck with modding the stock one.

MMR had one for B heads but it is pricey(as usual) and built for high RPM. Haven't looked to see if they still sell them. It's a sheet metal intake. Almost bought a used one but no good for the street. Hence the reason the guy wanted to dump it.
