FRC stands for Fixed Roof Coupe exactly the same bodystyle as the Z06. The regular C5 has a liftoff Targa glass roof, the FRC as the name implies does not. This saves weight and makes the car more rigid compared to the Targa top C5's. This was why the Z06 only came in the FRC bodystyle. The FRC's are the lightest C5's also barely hitting 3150lbs. IMO the best looking C5 bodystyle.

Fixed roof coupe, some people like to play on the acronym and call it factory race car.

AFAIK the FRC has the same general body style as the z06 but is missing some styling hints like the rear brake ducts the z06 has.
