getting new tires, and I know plenty of people put 275/35/18 on the front, but I'm wondering whether or not it will rub at all. some people have said it will at full turns, others say it won't be a problem. I'm lowered on eibach pro-kit springs if that matters. would 265 (or even 255) be a better choice?

Are those any taller than the 275/40/17's? I ran the 17's on my 01 and never had an issue.

Since SVE finally stepped up and started making reproduction y2k cobra r 18x9.5 wheels I've been looking at 18" tires.

Most sizes I've seen list a 275/35r18 as 25.6" overall diameter where most brands show a 275/40r17 as 25.7" overall. The size is nearly identical to where I don't think it would be noticeable at all.

I run 275/40/17 on the front. I rub in reverse at full lock and under hard turning/ braking during autocrossing
