I am selling my 1997 cobra track car. I have title for it but not in my name. Car can still be driven on the street. I have owned the car for over a year. The car has 133240 miles as of 1/11/12 runs without any problems. The paint is in rattle can Flat black. It is set up to run TT (TTD) or a great HPDE car. The car make right around 245. It can make more with a change to the tune. The car is gutted and weights 3460 with me in the car. The car has H&R super race spring, Tokico D Spec shocks, Ford racing 4:10 rears gears, UPR X-pipe, custom side exhaust with magnaflow mufflers, Brembo Cobra R Calipers, 4 PT welded Roll bar, 98 Cobra rims with used 245 hoosier R6s, 4 extra used 245 hoosier R6, Cobra Race seat (only one coming with the car) ,1 5 PT harness, Tow hooks, sparco steering wheel, brake cooling, bigger radiator, Spec Clutch, short throw shifter, Diablo Chip, The A/C has been taking out of engine bay and the EGR has been deleted. I also have a few other of the interior pieces left. Im sure I am missing a few things. The car is located in Tampa,FL. I am asking 4000.00 for the car or shoot me a price and see what we can do. I'd love to be able to get your car, it would make a better platform than mine (which I just retired). I'm gonna mention it to a friend who's just pulled his '03 from TTA because of motor problems.
But I'm curouis about something. Are you running NASA TT? If so, how are you getting it in TTD? Their base class for a 96-98 Cobra is TTC, and with your mods, you're in TTB.
Or is it a different group in FL? If so, what other cars are in your class? I'd have killed to be able to run TTD up here.

Yea i ran it all last year with nasa TT. The car is dyno reclass since the car is not making the power that it should. The most the car made was 270ish but than we detuned it to run TTD. The car is a top 3 finisher. I am running against boosted miatas, 350s, and bmws. The car is a great car on the track. I would love to keep it but i got AI car im working on.

I have no idea on how much it would cost. If you put street tires on it than it will be fine for the road (at least here in FL) we dont have emissions. all of the lights still work and still has power door locks and power windows

I've sent the link to Chris Henderson-the TTA guy I mentioned. I'd like to see him get it.
He's looking at a Pinto MARRS GTP Champion car right now that does Summit Point in 1:26. This car looks like more fun IMHO.

Actually I think it is great that you were able to get a Cobra into TTD. Still don't see how blown Miatas still manage to stay in TTE with NA Miatas. Not to mention the guys running in TTE with blown Miatas are running TTB times, but somehow that is seen as fair.
