just an fyi. my brother has an 01 saleen sc 15k miles, which has been wrecked twice. both times the insurance tried to total it based on the vin is a mustang gt. maybe the same happened with yours, i dont know. they tried to offer him $12,000 to total it when he still owes $16-17 on it lol. his airbags were never deployed either. i guess things didnt add up when the shop priced everything from saleen, and the insurance co has it down as a GT only. saleens are listed as exotics in the price guides they use. other than a tail pipe rattling against the frame when he got it back the second time, you couldnt tell it had been wrecked. still runs and drives as good as any stang ive ever been in.
