For sale is a set of 1986-97 2.5" Stainless Steel Tailpipes made by 50Resto. These were installed for testing then removed.
These 2.5" tailpipes are specified as LX or foxbody style. They will present a factory look on 86-93 mustangs. These are also perfect for an SN95 owner who is looking for a slightly shorter or "tucked" exhaust setup.

Condition:
Since these were only on the car for a few hours, the tips and polishing from the axle back are flawless. Appearance wise, when on the car they are perfect. The hanger locations were modified/cut-up during installation and removal. It would be fairly easy to weld in new hangers, and will actually help give an exact fit. There is a small pinhole on the inflow end of one of the pipes caused during welding. Because this should be covered by the outflow pipe of the muffler when installed, it will not affect anything. Less than 1/4" was cut from the inflow end of the tailpipes when they were removed. Again, this should all be covered by the outflow pipe of the muffler when installed.
The following pictures detail everything mentioned previously. I am only asking $85 +shipping for the set. That's nearly half what these cost new. If you need any additional information or pictures, please e-mail [email protected].
On a side note: a set of Flowmaster orginal 40s in good condition will also be offered to the buyer at a much discounted price. Shipping is buyer's responsibility. Pics available upon request.
