Okay up for Sale/Trade is my latest project.I bought the car mainly for the motor/tranny/ecu & wiring to swap into my Coupe.I decided to since go a different route so I figured why not drop it back into the Cobra and go another route.I bought the short block from Rick@SSPSTANGBANGERS Ford parts warehouse and nothing against Rick but I have trust issues when buying used parts so I whet all the way back down to bare and reassembled with new bolts just to make sure the bolts,rings and what not were up to par.All parts replaced with O.E.M. Ford parts and A.R.P. bolts.I have all reciepts for parts and the build was done by me so I guess you can say its "Turbostang" built.Since the build I have put 113 miles on her so she is still on the break in oil.I know im leaving something out but here is what I can remember off the top of my head:
2001 Windsor Block out of a Mach 1
Updated 2004 Marauder Heads
New O.E.M. Headgaskets
New O.E.M. Head bolts
New O.E.M. Rod bolts
New A.R.P. Main bolts
New O.E.M. Water Pump
New O.E.M. Valve Cover Gaskets
New O.E.M. Spark plug tube seals
New O.E.M. Timing chain tensioners
New O.E.M. Secondary timing chain tensioners
New O.E.M. Timing chain sliders
New O.E.M. Front crank seal
New O.E.M. Rear main seal
New O.E.M. Oil pump
New O.E.M. Oil pickup tube
New O.E.M. Oil pan gasket
New O.E.M. Coolant crossover tube seals
New O.E.M. Spark plugs
New O.E.M. Exhaust valves
All Bearings in the bottom are Clevite
All Machine work was done by Owens Racing in Pearland
I know im leaving something out but please dont hesitate to ask any questions
