Had a scary situation occur a few weeks ago with my pedal sticking under my carpet like so many have read about. Bought this carpet pusher downer thingee new from Steve at Tousley Ford to remedy it. Went to install it today only to find out that one had already been installed on my car by the previous owner, but it was UNDER THE CARPET. :nonono:

Needless to say I don't need two of these, so I'd like to help make someone else's car safe if I could! :banana:

I've got $15.00 in it... Taking any reasonable offers!

wow thats hilarious. i had my last cobra taken into the dealer to put that same part on mine under warranty. they said it showed in the computer it was done under warranty already, but it wasnt on the car so i bought the part. i took it home and started to work on it and found the one they did under warranty was under the carpet aswell. :bash: Sad isnt it. you would think a FORD TECH could handle such an easy recall, kinda makes me worried what other things go on we never hear about. sorry to interupt your thread glws. :beer:

That pedal guard is FREE at any Ford dealer to '03-'04 Terminator owners due to the recall....why not just give it away and chalk one up to a lesson learned?
