Fuel door..

Has anyone bought one of these fuel doors? I won't say the name of the vendor because I "GUESS" that's a NO NO. I want to be able to lock the door and not the cap. The picture looks good, but it looks like it sticks out a little from the body? I like the flush look, more like the Bullitt.

I have the Pro-Fits fuel doors electric model which was expensive but great quality and fits perfectly flush with the side of the car.

I've got one of the mgwltd versions you show.

I got the black cobra on black bolt pattern. THis could be the Coolest mod, cept for maybe the 12" Black Antenna Mod.

Whoops. Looks like MGW does, in fact, offer it in black/black, but you only find that out when you print out the order form (see <http://www.mgwltd.com/fueldoor-order.html>). I'm getting a black/black with the cobra snake logo.

No. It doesn't stick out at all. I'll see if I can get a pic.

The quality is excellent. All billit, as you can (hopefully) see in this pic. I'm really happy with this piece. It's one of my favorite appearance mods.

I'm sort of new here. So i'm not sure of the rules.

THe black bolt/black black/snake looks stunning on the mineral grey.

But If I was getting one for my soon to be gone Black 99, I would get the silver version to go with a color contrast.

The quality is top notch, the install directions were great, and total install of the mgw only took 15 minutes.

I can get a GOOD idea how smooth it forms to the body on the White 03.

I just polished mine this morning. Black is great, but what a !@#$ to get all the swirls out. I think I will go with the one I pictured at the start of the tread. I like the smooth finish. The bolts give it a more aggressive look. But smooth it is..

I'm also ordering the shifter handle.
