Has anyone bought one of these fuel doors? I won't say the name of the vendor because I "GUESS" that's a NO NO. I want to be able to lock the door and not the cap. The picture looks good, but it looks like it sticks out a little from the body? I like the flush look, more like the Bullitt.

Thanks, Mac03Cobra...

I've got one of the mgwltd versions you show.

I got the black cobra on black bolt pattern. THis could be the Coolest mod, cept for maybe the 12" Black Antenna Mod.

f4sfed, Does it stick out too far in your opinion? Thanks for the
pix, it's good to see one installed. I have a black coupe and my
thoughts were to go BLACK on BLACK if I went with this unit.
How is the quality?

toofast4u, The PRO-FITS is awesome, but as you mentioned, a little pricey.

Thanks, Mac03Cobra...

Warp,

You wrote: "I got the black cobra on black bolt pattern" from MGW, but the web site only has the satin cobra on satin bolt pattern (see < http://www.mgwltd.com/images/cobrafuel1.jpg> and <http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_fuel_door.html>). Do they, in fact, make the black/black with the snake logo or do they only make the satin/satin readily found on the web site? I would love to get the satin/satin cobra in black/black. Thanks.

No. It doesn't stick out at all. I'll see if I can get a pic.

The quality is excellent. All billit, as you can (hopefully) see in this pic. I'm really happy with this piece. It's one of my favorite appearance mods.

I'm sort of new here. So i'm not sure of the rules.

THe black bolt/black black/snake looks stunning on the mineral grey.

But If I was getting one for my soon to be gone Black 99, I would get the silver version to go with a color contrast.

The quality is top notch, the install directions were great, and total install of the mgw only took 15 minutes.

Pics soon...

Also pics of the shorty antenna.

Here's the MGW chrome Cobra with black ring..... Matches my white and black very nicely....

MGW rules!

BTW... They're about to come out with a radio knob replacement.

Great pictures folks! THANK YOU... Man, you have to love a WHITE Cobra!

I can get a GOOD idea how smooth it forms to the body on the White 03.

I just polished mine this morning. Black is great, but what a !@#$ to get all the swirls out. I think I will go with the one I pictured at the start of the tread. I like the smooth finish. The bolts give it a more aggressive look. But smooth it is..

I'm also ordering the shifter handle.

Is the keyhole an actual key (round, like a vending machine key) or just a two pin key?...
