Fuel line upgrade needs a new tune ?

I help a friend to upgrade his fuel line. He took the LP fuel line upgrade 8AN from pump to fuel rail.

Since , the car run 12.5 at idle and pig rich on part throttle.

Fuel system is a fore hat w/ twin GT pump , turn 5 fpdm, 60lb inj and stock fuel rail.

Just changing the fuel line should not have affected the tune. Something else must have changed.

Doesnt the bigger line lighten the load on the pumps?

yes, a bigger line will lighten your duty cycle but not drastically.

I did not datalog at this time the pump . So i dont know for the DC or the load of those pump.

I could not imagine that we install two pump of near 500gph and have a tiny hose of a quarter inch that feed the rail.

The fuel line have been upgraded from the stock one, plug was TR6 and now BR7EF .
