Installing an Autometer Lunar series fuel pressure gauge this week. I'm wanting to remote mount the sender. I've got the 4AN adapter #3275, the stainless steel hose #3227, and a 90 degree swivel #3274 to go w/ the gauge and sender.

1) Did you guys use Teflon tape or Teflon compound?
2) How did you secure the sender? I'm not mounting it on the fuel rail.

Any pics anyone could post of the underhood install or sender mounted would be greatly appreciated. Or send pics to [email protected]

Thanks guys,
Torch

Well, I mounted mine remotely. I routed the SS line underneath the plenum and along the firewall towards the driver side. I used tie straps to hold it in place against the big bundle of wires that are along the firewall. I used Permatex High Temp thread sealant and it seems to be holding fine. I will see if I can dig up the pics that I went from. Someone posted them a while back last year.
