I am more than likely just going to grab the 255's just wanting to know all the options ... I just came back to the trucks from owning mustangs .. so there is alot of new things for me to grasp ... just wanting to know if they are a direct replacement or if they have to be modified to work ...

i think I remember someone saying there was a lot of stuff that had to be done to make them work, but I don't remember for sure

I thought they were just plug and play? Some upgrade some of the hoses and the "Y" fitting. Nothing too hard from what I understand. I believe there's a how to on here somewhere. Just look it up.

GT pumps will not work without modification. Any Walbro GSS340 - GSS342 pump is a direct replacement and is the simplest replacement. Unless your planning on making big power, more than the average built Lightning (700+) than you wont need anything more... Stan
