Fuel system power wire

Where/ how did you guys with fuel system run the power cable from battery to trunk? Trying to figure the best route.

Go through the firewall, run along side the seats under the plastic trims. Fold down the rear seat to get the wire through, fold back up and tuck away the excess cable.

Where in the firewall? Can't seem to find a hole except the grommet that leads to cabin air filter?

Remove the passenger side wheel well plastic splash shield and you'll see a large rubber grommet that a bundle of wires feeds into the car through.
There is a molded circle in the grommet that is pretty much a template that says "cut here". Run your power cable through that.
