I know this has been discussed and I've searched the threads but all can find is vent the tank to the atmosphere. That doesn't seem like a great idea. The reason I'm asKing, is because I'm installing an 03/04 cobra fuel tank in my 97 cobra. The issue is I don't have the evap system in the 97 to connect the piping and vents off the 03/04 tank. Has anyone handled this another way besides just venting to the open air?

Thanks

My buddy made a charcoal canister for his. Not 100% sure how he did it but he was sick of the gas smell in his garage from letting the car sit and fab'd one up.

did you just route your vent tube to the filler area behind the fuel door?

No, I ran a hose from the top of the tank up and over the axle area with a valve cover breather filter in the end of it. Kind of hillbilly but it works great. I run e85 and do not smell it when the car is running.
