So I just got back from picking up my GF and taking her to her dorm for a second to pick up some clothes so she can spend the night. Well as I pull into the dorms to park there is a black on black saleen 99-04 GT convert. It had it's owner and some other asian cat outside shooting the shit. Well GF goes up stairs and here's the dialogue:
Me- "what you got in there."
GT Guy- "lots of stuff"
Me- "like what?"
Gt Guy- Upper and lower intake, throttle bodie, and a cam.
Me-" What intake and what cam?"
GT Guy- "03 cobra cam"
Me- (I get out of my car and walk up to them) No you don't see 03 cobra's are DOHC and Gt's are SOHC so you don't have an 03 cobra cam in fact you don't have just a cam you have cams."
GT Guy- (astonished look on his face) "I know I made that up"
Goes on for awhile but the rest is just them asking me about my car. Anyways apparently they thought since I had a V6 I didn't know shit about these cars. Felt good to hold my own and have the "V8 guys" get scared of a little ole sixer and their owners knowledge of their car.
