He infact for some period of time he made fun of people who were patriotic- he's basically said that it's not for him and makes him feel weird.
And BTW-
Those Bush photos are just errors in timing of the photo- both Bush Jr. and Sr. would never go through a national anthem and say that being patriotic was "overplayed."
