I got the following e-mail about a new local DFW SVTOA chapter. Thought I'd pass it on for anyone interested.

Dear Dallas/Ft. Worth area SVTOA Member,
We are writing local SVTOA members in our area to let them know that we have established a local chapter here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. We are looking forward to many DFW area SVTOA owners getting involved in our chapter meetings, track events, car shows, and drives.
We have also established a local chapter website, it can be found at http://www.dfwsvtoa.com. While on the site we encourage everyone to register on the site and on the message forum. Through the message forum members can communicate with each other, share ideas, engine mods, service experiences, etc.
Texan Ford in Arlington is our sponsoring dealership, together he hope to bring some great local, regional, and national Ford, SVT, and SVTOA events to North Texas. SVTOA is going to be moving an upcoming SVT On Track Event from Oklahoma to Texas Motor Speedway now that there is an active chapter here in this area. Stay tuned for further details!
Our first official chapter meeting will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, January 23, 2004 at Texan Ford in Arlington. Texan Ford is located on the eastbound service road to Interstate 20, just east of Cooper Street in Arlington. Check out our website for further details!
I am looking forward to meeting all of our members at our first meeting!
