Any idea how much this is and if there are points? The officer would not tell me. I told him it was a accident I didn't realize they were on as he came over the hill the other way. Told him I was sorry and he asked me to get out the car and wrote me a ticket.

in the time it took you to type two posts and wait for an answer, you too could have found out that the fine is 116.50 and with court costs is is 144.50

I doubt that offense comes with points. Call the court to verify.
You do not need to show any "intent" when committing a traffic offense. Accident or not, the offense was committed. It's that simple with traffic. It's nothing personal.

I called and they said it's 158 dollars and didn't know about points and to call the DMV
