Been fighting with getting my guage glow working again so I can see it at night. So far none of the usual fixes have worked.

So I have changed fuses, dimmer switch, and replaced cluster. Still cant get the white face backlight to light up. It started one day after a stereo install, but last I checked grounds they seem fine. Even had a place who does installs check.
Hoping to get troubleshooting ideas along with maybe a point at the right direction. As much as I may not always look my the speed I'm going. It doesnt mean I dont occasionally atleast check at night lol.

Do some searching, there are some threads about replacing some component that powers the backlighting. I cant recall what its called, if I find it I will update. Have you checked for power going to the cluster for illumination, Im not sure which circuit is for illumination but I found a few places for you to check. There is a wire on each pic for "Instrument Cluster" that you can check.

I honestly think the problem was with the stereo install. I would retrace all the steps you took and check all the adjacent/connected wire bundles and connectors. You may have pulled a wire loose or broke one, also look for any hard kinks, pinches and damaged wire insulation.
