Gen 2 lightning recurring error code

Hi guys. hope you can help me. my lightning has the error code P0171 system too lean bank 1.it kkeps coming back not when the car is running but it shows once you start up the car.

History of my car is that it is a flooded unit and took ford 7 months to fix. i changed everything needed and car seems to be running perfectly well except for this code.

Was in the US last year and bought 2 heads that were ported and polished and slapped them on, could this be the problem or should i check on my o2 sensors or what?

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have cats and/or exhaust???

I had a similar problem when I installed a cat back system and removed the cats.

I kept the upstream O2 sensors but had to get the O2 sensor simulators for the back.

I kept on getting the error code working with The Predator etc.

Someway, somehow, when I ported my blower the code went away like magic????

Till this day IDK why???

When did this problem start? Immediately after the heads swap? or truck been running good, then the codes pop up?

Check your O2 sensors and check for vaccumm leaks; you'll probably find your problem there.
