So my engine blew going to work just cruising at 70 miles. Took it to the dealer and they are going to cover it they don't know why it broke but has a hole in the block. So it's been at the dealer for 2 months already waiting on a long block with no date on when it will be ready cause of a back order. My hope is someone here has a connection that can find out how long these engines will be on backorder for.

Not seeing a back order on Gen 3 crate engines.

It just randomly blew up? No other symptoms? Low oil? Knocking?
Anything done to the truck? Supercharged?

No symptoms well at least none that i noticed. Right before it blew and I mean like 30 seconds before the light came on for no oil pressure then a big pop. I was in morning traffic so i couldn't pull over fast enough. It did have some bolt on when I bought it but I returned it back to stock a couple a months ago through the Ford dealer that it's currently at.
Any help to at least determine a time frame.
