Gen V ACR nurbegregergering lapping today

Today is the first day of lapping for some privately funded record attempts in two ACR-E's at nurbergring and so far they are at a 7:03.45. Should be interesting to see how low they go. (I thought there was a thread already but it's not showing up)

That's not true.

They ran Monday. They were only able to get the one lap in between rainstorms. They have another chance on Friday, and then have committed to coming back in August as well.

I had a feeling it'll be sub 7. Good to know it's close. Hopefully their next attempts will have better conditions.

As much as I'd love to see it happen, they have to pick up almost 12 seconds to beat the Huracan (I don't count the record set by the McLaren P1LM car...car is hardly a "production" car and was made just to do this basically). That seems fairly insurmountable. I would be happy with the Viper breaking the 7:00 mark.
