Wow, that's crazy! So another update: last week went to the ER with sharp pains in my stomach that have been going on since this whole ordeal. Originally thought to be some mild gastritis, turned out to be my gallbladder.
I’ve had numerous contrast ct scans and ultrasounds showing nothing.
This past Monday morning I felt the pain coming back so I went back to the ER. Luckily, they ran the same tests to which one showed inflammation and they admitted me.
The doctor had the knowledge luckily to order a “HIDA scan”. The test is supposed to show the organ working but never did.
Tuesday morning they had surgery to pull it out and it turns out it had gangrene on it and been dead for a long time now.
Since removed, my heartburn is gone but I still have some incidences of reflux.
So one step closer to getting this all fixed.
If there’s one tip I have, it’s that if you feel pain, have multiple tests and opinions before you just take there’s nothing wrong for an answer.
Good luck going forward man.
