My car has to much extra crap in it like my helmet, toolbox,
assorted elctronics, manual, papers, spare tire, & jack. I'm
gonna rid all the stuff back to the garage. Maybe I'll pick up
1/10 who knows. Any of you guys got your car extra weight
free or are you still drive'n around with a spare? If I get a
flat around town I'll just have my wife bring me the spare.
I figure I have a much better chance at a run than a flat.

I took my spare out too. I dont really know how else to lose weight, maybe loser the passenger side floormat if you dont have people ride with you. The problem is these cars are so beautiful stock I don't really wanna gut them and take out the back seats, start messing the suspenion up to lose a few pounds etc.

The only thing im really thinking of doing is getting some lighter wheels, unsprung mass makes way more of a difference in acceleration anyway,

That's why I went with the "R" wheels-Their weight is
only 22lbs. vs. the stock around 25-26lbs.

Why dont you just get rid of the Porky, S/C v-8 and do a motor swap. I hear those little turbo 4's are killer!!:burnout:
