"Ghost Image" Left From Removing Winshield Decal

I removed my windshield decal but as i wetted it down to place the new decal, i noticed the image from the previous decal. I've tried using simple green, comet, all purpose cleaner, but nothing seems to remove it. Any ideas?

Buff it out? iono... i was able to buff mine out with the PC...

Most times they burn into the tint on top of the windsheild. The tint will fade everywhere except where the decal was. On my 76 chevy the tint is complety faded everywhere except where the base stickers used to be. stick out like a sore thumb.

Paint polish applied with steel wool will take it off.
