So I have a 2014 Mustang gt, VMP stage 3 kit, 1d 1000 injectors, 79mm pulley, JLT 123 intake. Recently I saw a 13psi spike boost on my boost gauge and kind of freaked out. I called Justin and he said not to worry about boost gauge readings but if I want to be safe I could just go to a 82mm pulley. He also said no need to change belt, tensioner, and no need for a retune, just put it on there and I'll be good. Can you go to a next size higher pulley and not need a new tune? I was under the impression that spark advance would have to be adjusted for the bigger pulley and would need a new tune. Also, for those with the 79mm pulley, have you ever seen a 12-13 boost spike? I am already running a VMP tune and Justin and his team are amazing to I'm not doubting anything they are saying, I am just very OCD and am looking for double confirmation I suppose. Thanks.
