Going to Florida in March, Suggestions for doing stuff?

Hey All,

I'll be going to Florida in March and was wanting some opinions from people that live there or know a lot about the state.

I have been to Florida many times over the last 10 years or so, but I know there is more stuff to do there that I just don't know of.

I will be located in the tampa/clearwater area (seminole to be exact).

I have been to Caledesi Island a few times, but I was reading that you can actually walk there from North Clearwater Beach instead of taking a boat out, is that true?

So what do you all suggest for things to do/see/go?

I haven't been bass/deep water fishing, but I won't have access to a boat. I've been to almost all of the parks near orlando, although I was considering going back to one of them since it's been a while.

You have the Hard rock hotel casino right there....... Ofcourse you have the Bradenton motorsport park...(dragstrip) Busch Gardens they have some stuuf tyhat goes on Sat nights pm for details....lots to do...

If youre in downtown St. Pete check out a place called Tastings. Its a wine bar that I helped build. Actually I did the trim and woodwork, but if you go youll see how big of a job that was.

Updating this because it's getting closer to my vacation, plus there might be others who would find this information useful.

How about places to eat?? What are some good places in/around tampa/clearwater ?!?!

Best breakfast/supper/BBQ/etc etc....

Also, general things to do/go still open for suggestions.

BBQ= Smokey Bones or there is a small trailer on RT301 in Riverview that is the best BBQ I have ever had.

Go to Anna Marie Island=beach Go to MOSI, Tampa Aquarium, Visit the warship at the Tampa Seaport, Busch Gardens, Hard Rock Casino.

Just relax.

Well you should consider Miami/South Beach for the middle & ending of march. The Winter Music conference is coming & the Clubs are ****/ing insane. Plus spring break & miami go all good.

Ultra Music Festival is SICK & full of Fine Chicks. Also there is another event called global gathering :rockon: it all takes place in Downtown Miami near South Beach. Also the clubs during that week are full of Spring break girls. :rockon: But be ready to spend around $75 to get in CLub Mansion
