going to the drag strip tomorrow

Im going to the drag strip tomorrow and i just got some hoosier they r 26x9.5-16 on some weld wheels but i feel like they r too skinny do u guys think ill still be able to hook?car has a 2.3 whipple

I've had 275-40-17 nt05r's and got low 1.7x and maybe a high 1.6x 60', I just bought some 26x11.50 17 et streets but haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I'm sure they will hook my car.

Mine r 9.5 on a 9in rim they look really skinny hopefully they hook

They are skinny. 9.5" tire is the same size as a 245. 10.5" tire is a 275. I run a 275/50 on a 8" wide rim and gets the job done.

m/t et drags do not need huge burnouts to hook, they are made to just be slightly hazed, stage and then..HOOK

26x11.5-16's hook pretty well on a 16x7.5 wheel

It works like a bawss tho, lol. I bought the pair for 200 bucks and they had 5 passes on them and could not pass up the opportunity. i bought the wheels for 40 bucks a piece and i cured my wheelhop..(on the dragstrip lol)

They defintely hooked on those passes.
This was at 5k on the 2 step.
