i'm going to the track tomorrow for the first time with my cobra. well its not the first time i'm going to the track, just with that car. do you guys have any pointers? i've never ran a super charged car at the track or a car with IRS. i've always been a camaro guy. any pointers would help. thanks!

Pointers? Yea, good luck! Launch at lower rpm with gradual depression of the gas pedal with clutch release to prevent bog or wheel spin and then once you get going, shift that baby like you mean it and hold on...... Get as many runs in as you can, cause getting these monsters off the line effectively and efficiently takes practice for most of us........

Just do a quick burn out with the stock tire pressure if you're using the stock tires. Just rev it up a little bit when you leave the line and let the clutch out fast but don't dump it. You should be able to get a 1.9 to 2.0 60' time. Try to shift around 6500 RPMs. That should get you into the 12s.
