Goodyear Gatorback Belt Size Needed. I Used Search.

If anyone can help me, I need the correct belt size or part number. I am looking for a gatorback belt.

I am currently using Gates 25-080785 but I cant find the cross reference # for the Gatorback.

My setup:
3.5 Upper
4lb Lower
metco 100mm idler
Stock Alternator Pulley
and the rest of the idlers are stock

you need an 8 rib 78.5" belt. just go to the parts store and tell them that is what you need, or actually make THEM do some work and cross the gates number.

Keep the gates. Gatorback belts are horrible. They have less friction surface and wear out faster.

I know this might sound stupid but the reason I like Gatorback is because it makes the whine sound. Ever since I installed the Gates, its been quiet.

If you think the extra noise at idle is worth a slipping belt then go for it. I had the gatorback and it would slip above 5k all the time. changed to a gates of the same size and no more problems.
