470-480 RWHP / 450-470 RWTQ

on 10# of boost. I'll post the dyno on Thursday :-D

The Stock AL Modular Engine in the 05+ GTs can take aprox. 480 at the flywheel under 5 lbs boost. Intercool it and 8 is possible;- after that it is advisable to build the bottom end. Numbers from FRP and Roush Racing. Build the internals and getting about 450at the wheels with reliability should be well.

Roush and Saleen make a S/C-er - Intercooled to run about 380 at the wheels with consistency. Beyond that, they tell me you are taking your chances. So, be careful with it. :)

I have a feeling something is going to go boom looking for those #'s;-)

Not really.

HUNDREDS of supercharged (root blowers, saleen, kennebell etc.) 05+ people with 450+ RWHP, a lot of them abuse their car at the track all the time, and they've had the blower for over a year.. only 2 people I know (on the internet) blew their motor with a root blower, and they were both pushing 500+ on 14# of boost.

they're not like the weak 2v's, the 3v holds up pretty well.

check out www.modularfords.com for more info.
