T1 for 28 years as well. I've had those days to where you don't feel it plummet until its too late. Hell I've had it happen while eating lunch. I'm sorry about your situation. I've been at my employer for 17 years. One of the first things I informed my boss was about my health. Because you never know. And it lets those around you know if you're not acting "yourself", to mention it. You don't always realize hypos. I went a long while feeling normal walking around in the 40's. Not a good thing. In my time of working where I am, I've had help 3 times where I was awakened with an IV in my arm. I have a drawer filled with glucose and carry gel everywhere. The tablets suck. Either way, as already stated, go over your meds, modify what you need to and keep contact with your doctor when you make changes.
