So today I struck a deal to trade my stockers for some black saleens. The fronts are 18x9 with 245/40's and the rears are 18x10's with 285/40's. Will I need the low profile IRS bolts? Also looking into the h&r race springs to lower the car but will it have clearance issues with the fenders. Plan on 295's later this year but gonna get some use outta these first. Thanks for the input as alway:rockon:

No, you will not NEED the low profile IRS bolts untill you go 305s or bigger but it doesn't hurt.

you should be good, some people have had to get the low pro bolts and some have not but i think that applies to the 10.5 wheels. my buddy had 18x10 saleens on his 03 and had no issues at all with 295's out back.

Awesome, I know some guys hate the black wheels but I've seen zero cobras in the Stl area running the black saleens. Think it'd still be alright to lower it with the h&r race springs?

So go to get these today and the "minor" rash was the understatement of the yr so I passed on the wheels. So I'm still looking for some saleen's
