Went This past thursday and got my exhaust done at a local shop. I wanted it loud, so i got 2 1/2" pipe from the cats back, with no mufflers, and 4" stainless steel tips. Its exactly the sound and tone that i was going for and im very pleased with it.
Im thinking of changing my cams. I have a 4.6 liter and i was told its DOHC. How hard would it be to change the cams myself, and about how long? im not looking for a huge lift, but i want a little more chop in the idle. so im pretty much looking for a mild cam set-up. what kinda lift and cams should i go with??
also, my truck is the base model work truck ... XL and im wanting to change my gauge faces, and use the tachometer from say an FX4 or XLT. How would i go about making the tachometer from an XLT functional in my truck??
